SL and GLS Facelift

At the Los Angeles Auto Show Mercedes presents the facelift of the SL and the facelift of the GL (which now is called GLS).

The SL 400 und SL 500 now is equipped with the 9-Speed-automatic transmission. The power output of the SL 400 is increased from 333 hp to 367 hp and 500 NM. The sprint is done in 4.9s.

AMG offers the SL 63 with 585 hp V8 BiTurbo and the SL 65 with 630 hp V12 BiTurbo.

Also new is the AMG front and rear bumper which is standard on all SL models.

The intelligent light system (ILS) is switched from BiXenon to Full-LED technology.

The safety assistant features were updated to the S-Class level with the Stereo Multi Purpose Camera. In combination with the radar system Distronic Plus also allows you hands free driving in traffic jams up to 40 kph.

The GLS is also equipped with these new safety assistant systems. The 9-speed automatic is also standard at the GLS 350 d, GLS 400 and GLS 500. The 585 hp GLS 63 AMG is delivered with the 7-speed AMG sport automatic transmission.

The intelligent light system (ILS) is switched from BiXenon to Full-LED technology.

The Comand Online navigation system offers an 8 inch TFT display.

The delivery of the new SL starts in April 2016. The all new GLS will be one month earlier, in March 2016, at the dealership.
