New G 63 AMG now available
After nearly 40 years Mercedes has presented the all new G-Wagon. The G-Class now has more space in the interior. The width increased by 12cm and the length by 5cm. The interior gets the new seats from the E-Class W213. Optional you get the massage-seats with 8 different programs.
Also the infotainment system is from the E-Class. Optional you also get the widescreen. The new LED-head lights are standard and can be upgraded with dynamic and world best Multibeam light with 168 LEDs.
The G-Class has a new front axle so the onroad comfort could be increased to a new modern level. But also the offroad capabilities has been improved. The fording depth has been increased from 60cm to 70cm.
In the beginning you can order the G 500 with the 4.0 liters V8 BiTurbo with 422 hp. It is combined with the 9G-Tronic automatic transmission. The delivery starts in June.
On these photos you see the new G-Class as G 63 AMG variant. The 4.0 liters V8-BiTurbo delivers 585 hp. The sprint to 100 kph is done in 4.5 seconds. The topspeed is limited to 220 kph. With the optional AMG Drivers Package topspeed is limited to 240 kph. The fuel consumption is about 13.2 liters on 100 km.
In the first quarter 2019 there also will be a G 350d diesel with 286 hp and 600 NM. (new inline 6-cyclinder diesel OM656).
